The Scantic River State Park in Enfield closed its gates after reaching capacity shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday, and more early shutdowns are likely. Beautiful weekend weather is expected to draw crowds to beaches and parks - while coronavirus restrictions severely limit the number of people who can get in.
