Severe thunderstorm watches and warnings issued Sunday afternoon and evening for much of Connecticut

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 8 p.m. Sunday for much of the state, including Hartford, Fairfield, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London, Tolland and Windham Counties.
