Hartford police have suspects in custody in fatal shooting of 56-year-old woman who was cooking in her home when she was shot dead by a stray bullet

Thanks to witnesses who saw individuals take off on a scooter after a fatal shooting on Sisson Ave. last Friday, Hartford police are expecting arrests to come soon. The shooting killed 56-year-old Sylvia “Pebbles” Cordova, who police believe was cooking inside her home, when stray bullets struck and killed her.
