Hartford’s Puerto Rican parade returns with scaled-down celebration Saturday, honoring essential workers who remained on the job during COVID-19

After COVID-19 forced the cancellation of Hartford’s annual Puerto Rican Day Parade in 2020, organizers are planning a return this weekend with a caravan traveling from Pope Park through several city neighborhoods before ending at Parkville Market in a “Thank you Healthcare & Essential Workers” celebration Saturday.
