Police: Connecticut mother of special needs son intentionally crashed car into Housatonic River to kill self, son

Almost seven months after the crash, police announced this week that they have ruled the incident a murder-suicide after a “lengthy investigation” into the circumstances of the incident and what happened once the car went into the water.
