Vietnam War veteran on verge of homelessness finds help from East Haven police, local hotels

A Vietnam War veteran and his therapy dog have a warm hotel room to stay in this week after East Haven police, public works staff and a series of local establishments stepped up to help the man when he fell victim to a scam.
