Vernon, state officials say voters will get correct ballots as both sides continue to trade blame over mailing error

As Vernon officials and the secretary of the state’s office continued to debate their roles in a mailing label error that sent the wrong ballots to as many as 100 voters in the town, both sides said Wednesday they remain confident that the correct ballots will get to voters in time for the election that’s less than three weeks away.
